Wallwisher:
This is a great program for both students and teaches to use. It allows the user to integrate technology and education. You can use the Wall in so many ways….you can ask students to post a fact about a famous person, or a sentence about an interesting career, etc. Below is an example of a Wall that I created. Any participants can post "stickies" on this wall. The Wallwisher program is free, all you have to do is sign in and create your wall. Once you have created a wall you can then copy the "embed code" that will be displayed at the end of your wall creation. Paste this embed code onto your page or website by using the drop down (Insert tab) located in the formatting bar (you will see it when you edit any page). Click on "HTML/javaSript" …..a pop up box will appear that will allow you to paste the embed code and then click the little "allow this" box, follow the next few directions and viola you have created the Wall. Make sure to click the save box at the bottom of your wiki page. The wall will appear and anyone that clicks on the wall can post a sticky (as long as they are an invited participant to your website/page. Below is an example of a wall that I created. Give it a try and then put one on your own page in this wiki or in a wiki that you create! I will be glad to show you how to work with this when I am at your school! Have fun with it!
